| Pastoral Assistants |
| We now have four Pastoral Assistants - Rosemary Godwin, Pauline Burnett, Jacky Breadmore and Shirley Bevis. They are always available for visiting people who are house-bound, in hospital, or are lonely and would like some company. Please speak to Paul, the Rector (01372 375000) to arrange a visit for yourself or someone you know. They can also bring holy communion to you if you are unable to attend a church service. |

| Bringing up a family is a challenging affair so we offer Parenting Courses which are run by Liz Boughton. Give Liz a call on 375000 for more information. |

Bereavement Course |
This course is run by Wendy Roberts, a BACP accredited counsellor (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), whose experience includes twelve years in hospice work.
Many people in the Fetcham community will have lost someone close to them recently. Death forces unwanted change and life may never be quite the same again. After the numbness and shock of loss people experience feelings of isolation, intense sadness and fear of an unknown future. Confidence and concentration may be impaired. Bereavement produces many powerful emotions. Exploring these with others in a similar situation is very helpful and allows people to share and discover they are not alone in their grief.

Marriage Preparation |
| If you are preparing for marriage you would be welcome to join the annual marriage preparation course that is held on three Saturday mornings in February and March, from 10.00 - 12.00am. The course includes elements on improving communication skills, intimacy, dealing with conflict, expectations and children. You are welcome to join this course whether you intend to marry at St Mary's or elsewhere. Do get in touch with Paul (375000) if you're interested. |
